It has been said that "readers lead and leaders read." If this is so, and we believe it is, then writers rule the world. Which begs the question --
There are three basic types of publishers available to you at this time.
Full Service Trade Publishers -- A deal with one of these is every author's dream. Imagine power lunches with agents and editors as you discuss your upcoming book tour and your million dollar advance against royalties. Imagine, obviously, is the operative word.
For most authors, especially first time authors, this will never be more than a dream. Publishing is a business and publishers are looking to make money. If you are an unknown, then publishers won't know how they will recoup any investment they make in you. Full service publishers are very interested in authors who have clearly evident sales potential -- fame. If you think you have what they want, write a book proposal, find and agent, and go for it.
The other end of the publishing spectrum is what we call Vanity & Print On Demand (POD) Publishers. You may have seen their ads in magazines. "Send us your manuscript and we'll send you a book!"
What they mean is, they will take your uneditted (sometimes barely proofed) words and slap them between cookie cutter covers and charge you for the pitiful privilege. You wind up with one or more copies of your book, which you are left to sell on your own. And you can expect crippling prices should you need to order additional copies.

- MSWord or InDesign
- 8.5 X 11
- 1" (one inch) Margins all around (top, bottom, left, and right)
- Times New Roman or Palatino 12 pt DOUBLE SPACED
- No additional formatting (color, bold, italics, etc...) please
We will review your submission and send you a Quote / Contract with three possibilities.
A 25 - 50% deposit is required at signing (depending on the scope of the project).
